Mapiry Pro provides higher limits and advanced features for power users and businesses. This guide covers the actual Pro capabilities available today.
Upgrading to Pro
Visit your account settings to upgrade to Pro. Choose between monthly ($9/month) or annual billing ($90/year, save $18).
What's Different in Pro
Credit Limits
Free: 50 credits per day (resets at midnight UTC)
Pro: 3,000 credits per month (resets on your billing date)
Credits are consumed by AI operations:
- Generate map: ~25 credits (includes geocoding for ~10 locations)
- Add locations: ~15 credits (LLM + geocoding)
- Generate description: ~1 credit (LLM only)
- Geocoding per location: ~2 credits
- Enrich location: ~1 credit
- Batch import per row: ~3 credits
Both plans use the same AI model (GPT-4o-mini) and generate up to 10 locations per map. Pro users get a generous monthly allowance of 3,000 credits that resets with their billing cycle, allowing for flexible usage throughout the month.

Create as many maps as you need without worrying about hitting limits.
Private Maps
Free: Public maps only
Pro: Private maps available
Private maps give you full control over who can see your content:
- Only you (the owner) can view private maps
- Generate temporary access tokens to share with specific people
- Private maps don't appear on your public profile or in Explore
- Perfect for confidential data, work-in-progress maps, or client projects

White-Label Embeds
Pro users can remove Mapiry branding from embedded maps for a more professional, unbranded experience.

Export Features
Both Free and Pro users can now export their maps to CSV format!

What Pro Doesn't Include
To set accurate expectations, here's what's not currently part of Pro:
- Custom markers or icons (categories use colors only)
- Custom CSS or JavaScript injection
- Team collaboration features
- Custom domains or subdomains
- API access
- Webhooks or integrations
- Custom fields
- Template library
- Backup features beyond standard data protection
- Bulk operations beyond standard CSV import
These features may be considered for future development.

Pro Monthly: $9/month, billed monthly
Pro Annual: $90/year (save $18/year)
Cancel anytime. When you downgrade, you keep Pro features until the end of your billing period, then revert to Free plan limits.
Getting the Most from Pro
Use Your Monthly Credit Allowance
With 3,000 credits per month instead of 50 per day, you can:
- Generate up to 120 maps per month (at 25 credits each)
- Experiment with different map concepts
- Generate multiple variations to find what works best
- Create maps more frequently without hitting daily limits
- Use credits when you need them - no "use it or lose it" daily pressure
- Use more expensive operations like batch imports
Create Unlimited Maps
Free users are limited to 10 maps total. With Pro, organize your maps however makes sense:
- Create separate maps for different projects
- Keep test maps and production maps
- Archive old maps without deleting them
Professional Embeds
Remove Mapiry branding when embedding maps on your website or sharing with clients for a more professional appearance.

Q: Can I try Pro before paying?
A: Contact support about trial options.
Q: What happens to my maps if I downgrade?
A: Your maps remain accessible, but you'll be subject to Free plan limits (10 maps maximum, 50 credits per day, public maps only). If you have more than 10 maps, you'll need to delete some. Any private maps will remain private but you won't be able to create new private maps until you upgrade again.
Q: How do credit limits work for each plan?
